Cielo MedSolutions’ CEO to Deliver Address on the Patient-Centered Medical Home

David Morin to speak at Greater Detroit Area Health Council Conference

ANN ARBOR, MI – April 2, 2008 – Healthcare software company Cielo MedSolutions announces president and CEO David Morin will deliver an invited presentation at the Annual Health Futures Conference on Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Dearborn, Michigan. The theme of the event, hosted by the Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC), is primary care/physician office transformation and the concept of the medical home and its impact on quality, access and cost. Mr. Morin's talk will focus on the role of systems and technology in the patient-centered medical home.

The nation's leading medical groups, including the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), have come together to promote a proven model in health care delivery: the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PC-MH). In this model, the traditional doctor's office is transformed into the central point for patients to organize and coordinate their health care, based on their needs and priorities.
