Cielo MedSolutions Releases Cielo Clinic 2.0

Major release includes integrated care management, e-prescribing and over 50 new features and functions

Ann Arbor, MI (January 15, 2010) - Cielo MedSolutions LLC, a provider of clinical quality management solutions, has released the 2.0 version of its flagship product, Cielo Clinic. This new version contains over 50 enhancements, many of which are tied to the needs of the patient-centered medical home. Major new features include:

  • A Care Management module allowing care teams to monitor and manage patients within care programs, develop custom assessments and track progress
  • E-Prescribing to allow providers to generate prescriptions from within Cielo Clinic and utilize patient registry information for interaction checks
  • Enhanced order and referral management to simplify the tracking of details and compliance
  • Self-Management tools to document patients' compliance with their goals
  • Enhanced quality reporting

Cielo Clinic 2.0 is immediately available for use by providers across the United States. Existing Cielo customers will receive the 2.0 update as part of their license agreement with Cielo at no cost, with the exception of e-prescribing, which is available as a separate but integrated module.
