Q: How is Cielo Clinic^TM different from an EMR?

A: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems are designed to record encounter notes and optimize billing data, but documentation using billing codes does not give a complete picture of patient diagnoses, does not offer prompts of services due, nor does it accurately reflect a provider's care performance. Cielo Clinic offers prompts and reminders based on patient history as well as captures clinical data and codes it in a clinically-meaningful way for quality reporting and analysis.
